Overview

Eurotek offers a range of both CO2 and ester cured Permasil sodium silicate binders, giving good breakdown and low odour. The Permasil silicates have excellent environmental properties suitable for use in both core and mould making applications.

With the Permasil 300 range of ester hardeners setting times from 5 - 180 minutes can be achieved.


Permasil Technology

• Available Airset or Gs Cured ( CO2 )
• Good casting finish with all alloys
• Low gas evolution, excellent for more demanding castings
• No Sulphur, no Nitrogen
• No fume on mixing & casting
• Can be used for core & moulding applications
• Low reclamation levels
• Breakdown agents available in some grades



Permasil in Action

• Permasil offers no fume on mixing & casting making it and ideal environmentally friendly two part system

• Permasil is usable in Ferrous & Non Ferrous applications including Gun Metals, giving good casting finish in all cases

• A range of organic ester curing agents can be used giving cure times of minutes to several hours

• Long bench life of mixed sand makes CO2 cured Permasil a popular core making binder system

• Vloume core making in Permasil

• Moulding with Permasil in Gun Metal application
